Last rites of journalist Akshay Singh covering Vyapam Scam performed at Nigambodh Ghat
New Delhi, July 05 (ANI): Journalist Akshay Singh, who died under mysterious circumstances, was cremated at Nigambodh Ghat on Sunday. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi and DPCC Chief Ajay Maken paid visit at the cremation ceremony. Earlier in the day, Gandhi expressed anguish at the death of journalist Akshay Singh and extended condolences to his family members. "Deeply anguished at the untimely death of journalist Akshay Singh who was investigating the Vyapam scam in MP," Rahul said on twitter. "My condolences to his family," he added.
