Joy Sarkar has worked with the Tagore aspect of the film. Almost the entire Valmiki Pratibha has been used in the film, along with around five other Rabindrasangeet Songs. The Tagore songs have been arranged by Joy to mesh in with the situations in the movie. They are also contemporary in sound.Muktodhara is directed by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee (Icche) and stars Nigel Akkara (Vicky), Rituparna Sengupta, Bratya Basu, Debshankar Halder, Kharaj Mukherjee and more.
