New Delhi/ Bangkok, Sep 03 (ANI): Breast cancer is one of the common types of cancer among women. In India, many women suffer from the life threatening disease, which is more prevalent among women aged over 40 years. Breast cancer is a malignant tumor that starts from cells of the breast. An appropriate treatment can be administered if breast cancer is detected in its early stages. Doctors prescribe mammography screening for every woman aged over 40 years to detect breast cancer. However, Dr. Vashist at Batra Hospital says that breast cancer is nowadays found in women at young age. He prescribe routine mammography test for women. Fujifilm has recently installed digital mammography machine with 3D imaging technology at Batra Hospital and Medical Research Centre in New Delhi. The user-friendly mammography machine is called "Amulet Innovality". It is equipped with features like special mood lighting to make patient comfortable to get mammography done. It has tilt puddle technology (sweet puddle) that makes uniform compression over the breast and auto decompression. The digital display stand shows angle, force in newtons and tissue thickness.
