Jaisha throwing blame on federation because she underperformed: AFI Secretary
Trivandrum, Aug 23 (ANI): Rubbishing the statement of athlete OP Jaisha where she accused the Indian sports federation of failing to provide refreshment to the runners during marathon, Athletics Federation of India (AFI) Secretary CK Valson on Tuesday said Jaisha is putting the blame on federation because she underperformed in the marathon. Valson said the federation always makes sure that people are being seated at designated points with ample amount of water and refreshments for the players. He further said that Jaisha’s comment have not been taken to heart as the federation always stands with their athletes in every situation.
