From the paddy fields to the shooting range, it’s quite a long journey for a reticent shooter Jitu Rai. A teenager who grew potatoes and corns on his family farm in a tiny village of eastern Nepal, Rai had little idea that his destiny as a shooting hero awaited him. The new shooting sensation of the country who is in his first major international year and who has returned with a medal in every competition he has entered now wants to keep the winning momentum going till the 2016 Rio Olympics.
