India vs NZ: India elects to bat
Hyderabad, Aug 23 (ANI): India today won the toss and elected to bat in the opening Test match against New Zealand in Hyderabad. This is Indias first test match after the retirement of veterans Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman. Batsmen Cheteshwar Pujara and Suresh Raina returned to the Indian Test side. Meanwhile since early morning, a large number of cricket fans were seen swarming around the citys Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium where the teams are battling to register their triumph in the series. India is playing a Test match after a gap of seven months.
