India ready to hold talks with Pak under Ufa understandings: MEA
New Delhi, Oct 09 (ANI): India is ready to hold talks with Pakistan only on the terms that were agreed between the two prime ministers in Ufa, said foreign ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup. In the meeting at the Ufa this year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif had agreed to work together to rein in regional militancy, scheduling rare meetings between national security advisers and heads of border security. While addressing media persons, Swarup said India was committed to Ufa understandings. Swarup further said if Pakistan was ready to talk according to Ufa understandings, then India is ready for it.
