India's medal tally reaches 26 in Commonwealth Games with fourth position in hand

New Delhi, July 29 (ANI): India added four more medals to its Commonwealth Games 2014 tally on Day 5. Shooter Jitu Rai kept his reputation intact by clinching the gold medal and Gurpal Singh bagged silver in the 50m pistol event. Gagan Narang, taking part for the first time in the 50m Rifle prone event had to be content with a silver as the shooters did the bulk of the medal shopping during the day. Weightlifter Vikas Thakur added another silver when he came second in the 85kg category late on Day 5.
