The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) today announced that former Indian captain Ravi Shastri would assist the team management in the capacity of team director. BCCI also clarified that Duncan Fletcher will continue as the head coach while the services of fielding coach Trevor Penney and bowling coach Joe Dawes would be put on hold for some time.
