ISRO to launch IRNSS-1D satellite from Sriharikota today
Chennai/ Sriharikota, March 28 (ANI): The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will launch India's latest navigation s atellite, the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS)-1D from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota today.
The 1,425 kg satellite is scheduled for launch on Saturday at 5.19 PM. As per reports, the lift off originally scheduled for March 9 was postponed after an anomaly was found in a transmitter. IRNSS-1D is the fourth in the series of seven satellites that will put in place the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS), which is under development at present.
