ISRO successfully launches India's fourth navigation satellite IRNSS-1D
Sriharikota, March 28 (ANI): The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Saturday successfully launched India's latest navigation satellite, the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS)-1D from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota. The 1,425 kg satellite was launched at exactly 5.19 PM. As per reports, the lift off originally scheduled for March 9 was postponed after an anomaly was found in a transmitter. IRNSS-1D is the fourth in the series of seven satellites that will put in place the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS), which is under development at present.
