Holy Ganges still yearns for a renovation!
Varanasi (UP), May 29 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA Government recently completed two years of its ruling in the country but things remain same in the Prime Minister's constituency, Varanasi wherein river Ganges is still yearning for a makeover. Revamping of holy Ganga has been been on the government's agenda for the past 30 years but still no concrete steps have been taken to clean the river. Prime Minister Modi's promise to clean the river stands as it is. It is still reeling under filth and dirt, while steps leading to the ghat remain broken and rubbish still forms a major part of the river. Locals here have too lost hope of seeing the beautification of the river.
