History-maker Neeraj Chopra arrives in India

New Delhi, July 27 (ANI): Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra, who scripted history by becoming the first Indian to win a gold medal at the U-20 World Championships in Poland’s Bydgoszcz, arrived in the national capital early Wednesday morning. Chopra created a new U-20 world record by throwing the javelin at a distance of 86.48-metre and broke the old mark of 84.69-metre held by Latvian Zigismunds Sirmais from nearly two metres. The 18-year old sportsman hails from Haryana’s Panipat.
