Hirakhand train derailment: Railways Minister assures stern action against perpetrators
Kuneri (Andhra Pradesh), Jan 22 (ANI): Union Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu on Sunday inspected Hirakhand train derailment site and assured to conduct a probe in the accident that claimed lives of 39 people, adding that stern action will be taken against the people responsible for the derailement. The Hirakhand express train from Jagdalpur to Bhubaneswar derailed on Saturday night near Kuneri station. The minister had earlier announced compensation for the family members of the passengers who died in the accident, while also to those who received serious injuries.
