Here's how skin regulates blood pressure
New Delhi, Oct 27 (ANI): In an interesting development, scientists have cleared that skin plays an important role in controlling the blood pressure in humans. They have also revealed that skin helps regulate hypertension and heart rate in response to changes in the amount of oxygen available in the environment, which gently regulates the blood pressure. However, the study suggests, "We may need to take a look at other organs and tissues in the body and see how they, too, are implicated, in controlling blood pressure."
