New Delhi, March 26 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat on Thursday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that the prime minister assured of enough funds in 'Clean Ganga' projects. He said that the PM asserted that without the rejuvenation of streams and ponds in the Himalayan region, the Clean Ganga project won't be successful. Earlier, the government had asked 118 municipalities and urban local bodies and 678 industrial units in the five Ganga river basin states-Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal--to submit their action plans for setting up sewage and effluent treatments plants within 15 days.
