HC judge denied entry into TNCA club for wearing dhoti, D Raja calls it deplorable
New Delhi, July 14 (ANI): After Madras High Court judge was denied entry into the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association Club for wearing a dhoti, CPI leader D Raja called it deplorable. He said that dhoti is Tamil Nadu’s traditional dress and people from all class wear it. He also said that the act symbolizes the club’s colonial mindset. Meanwhile earlier DMK chief Karunanidhi also condemned the incident.
