Gold ornaments worth Rs 40 lakhs allegedly looted from jewellery shop in Vadodara
Vadodara, May 25 (ANI): Gold ornaments worth Rs 40 lakhs were allegedly stolen from Kalyan Jewellery shop by armed robbers in Vadodara. The robbers came in the disguise of customers and asked the shop owner Kaushik Chokshi to show them some gold ornaments, after which they looted the gold ornaments and fled away. However, the son of the owner of the shop caught one robber who was armed with a gun. The other robbers got away with the jewellery. The manhunt has been intensified to nab the three other armed robbers who allegedly ran away with the jewellery. Reportedly, no firing took place in the shop.
