Gobi Manchurian Recipe
Ingredients: Gobi / Cauliflower - 1 no.
Maida / All purpose flour - 3 Tbsp
Corn Flour - 1&1/2 Tbsp
Chilli powder - 1 Tbsp
Salt
Oil for deep frying
For the Sauce:
Oil - 2 Tbsp
Garlic - few cloves (finely chopped)
Ginger - small piece (finely chopped)
Few spring onions
Capsicum - 1 no. (finely choppped)
Soya sauce - 3 tsp
Chilli Sauce - 3 tsp
Ketchup - 2 Tbsp
Pepper - 1/2 tsp
Salt
Method:
1. Boil water with little salt
2. Cook the cauliflorets for 2 minutes. Then strain and keep aside
3. In a bowl, add maida, corn flour, chilli powder and salt
4. Add water and mix to a thick batter consistency
5. Now add the florets and coat them wiht the batter
6. Heat oil and deep fry the coated florets till golden brown. Keep them aside
7. In a pan, heat oil. Add garlic, ginger, spring onions, capsicums and saute well
8. Add soya sauce, chilli sauce and ketchup. Mix well
9. Add pepper and salt.
10. Finally add the fried florets and mix gently so that the sauce is coated all over
That's it! your gobi / cauliflower manchurian is ready to serve!
