Girls' school in Gujarat educating students for free
Rajkot, July 02 (ANI): At a time when schooling has become expensive, a school in Gujarat is providing free education to its students. Run by state government, Sarojini Naidu Girls High School in Rajkot city not only provides high class education to its students but also exempts them from payment of books, uniform and exams fee. The school has more than 400 girls, mostly from poor and middle class families. School principal, Sonal Faldu, said 150 girl students are in waiting list to get admission. The school has a new building with wide rooms and also houses a computer lab and a library. It even conducts educational tours free of cost. The students studying at the school are also happy with the education and facilities provided to them. The school has produced some of the brilliant students who stood in top 10 in the HSC (Higher Secondary certificate) and SSC results and one of the students got a special invitation to study in Europe.
