German tourists celebrate Holi with kids in Bodh Gaya

Bodh Gaya, March 05 (ANI): Tourists from Germany celebrated the colourful festival of Holi with rural children living in Bihar. The German nationals are artists who are in India to teach acting to children living in a village of pilgrimage site Bodh Gaya. The children and tourists were seen throwing coloured powders in the air and also smeared it on each other's face. Marie Fath, a German tourist in India for the first time, enjoyed the experience. Meanwhile, another tourist, Annette Fried, made merry playing with the children. Holi is celebrated with great zest and enthusiasm across India as devotees attach much importance to Hindu Lord Krishna, the archetypal figure of romance and revelry. People of all ages forget mutual differences and sprinkle-powdered colours on each other to welcome the spring season. This year the main festival of Holi will be celebrated on March 06.
