GIRIRAJ TO BE ARRESTED TODAY OVER ANTI-MUSLIM REMARK
A team of the Bokaro district police armed with a non-bailable arrest warrant for BJP leader Giriraj Singh has reached Patna. Cases were registered at Deoghar district’s Mohanpur police station and Bokaro’s Harla after Giriraj was caught on video saying that Narendra Modi’s opponents will have to go to Pakistan.The warrant was issued on Wednesday by Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate. Two cases had been filed against Giriraj, BJP’s Nawada candidate, for comments made while campaigning in the Godda and Dhanbad LS constituencies and his Pakistan remarks for Muslims.On the other hand, Giriraj has said that he will surrender today before court because he respects the law, judiciary and the Election Commission. However, he also said that he will not reveal where he will surrender.
