Former Uttarakhand Chief Ministers seek probe into the disaster scam
Haridwar/ New Delhi, May 30 (ANI): Former Chief Ministers of Uttarakhand on Saturday reacted to the recent unearthing of the state disaster scam in which an RTI activist sought a report that the goods were purchased at higher price even though there was availability at lower prices. Ramesh Pokhriyal called for a CBI probe in the matter. Vijay Bahuguna said that whenever a situation of disaster occurs in the state prices of general commodities rise due to non-availability but still if any scam is found it should be investigated. He also lauded the role of army and officials in rescuing the stranded people.
