Former INLD MLA Bharat Singh shot dead in Najafgarh
New Delhi, March 30 (ANI): Former Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) MLA Bharat Singh was shot dead from point blank range by unidentified assailants in Delhi's Najafgarh area in a suspected case of gang-war. Reportedly, 8-10 unidentified people indiscriminately fired over 15 rounds at Singh and his personal security officers. Singh and two of his personal security officers were rushed to Medanta hospital in Gurgaon in critical condition. According to media reports, the incident took place at Raghunandan Vatika where they had gone to attend a private function. Singh who had suffered bullet injures in his head succumbed to his wounds.
