Football stadium blast: Death toll reaches 29
Istanbul, Turkey, Dec 11 (ANI): At least 29 people were killed and 166 others injured in a car bomb explosion in Turkey's Istanbul on Saturday night. The explosion which happened outside a football stadium was followed by a suicide bombing less than a minute later. So far, none of the terrorist organisations have staked claim of the blast that took place outside Vodafone Arena. Turkey, a NATO member country, has been hit by a series of bombings in recent years. A match attended by thousands of soccer fans had taken place in the stadium just two hours before the blast.
