Flash floods submerges Uttarakhand’s Chamoli
Chamoli (Uttarakhand), July 02 (ANI): Incessant torrential rains caused flash floods in Uttarakhand Chamoli district, causing a rise in water levels in Nandaprayag town of the state. Reportedly over 54mm rainfall has been recorded in the state, and Alaknanda River is flowing above the danger level. Large tracts of agricultural fields and bridges linking the villages have also been destroyed.
