Five more infants die at Malda hospital, toll reaches 12
Malda, July 13 (ANI): In a worsening situation at the Malda Medical College and Hospital in West Bengal, five more infant deaths have been reported on Sunday. This comes less than a day after as many as seven newborn died at the hospital in 24 hours time. The government hospital had been in the news for the death of 23 infants due to an unspecified illness in June. Crib deaths is a serious issue haunting the West Bengal government since the past few years.
