Fish Puttu | Fish Bhurji | Scrambled Fish
Ingredients
Seer Fish/Vanjaram - 6 pieces
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Marinate for 10 mins
Oil - 2 Tbsp
Chopped Garlic - 2 pods
Piece of Ginger finely chopped
Green chili - 1 to 2 nos chopped
Few Curry leaves
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Chili powder - 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Onion - 1 to 2 nos. chopped
Few chopped Coriander leaves
Method
1. Rub the fish with salt and turmeric powder before cook for 10 minutes.
2. Start boiling water in a wide pan.
3. Now gently add fishes in to the boiling water.
4. Once the fish is cooked, gently remove the skin with a fork. Discard the skin and the bones. Be careful while scrambling.
5. Take a wide sause pan add oil, garlic, ginger, green chillies , curry leaves, turmeric powder, chilli powder, pepper and salt.
6. Add chopped onion and saute well till it turns brown.
7. Once the onion is transparent, add the shredded fish. Mix it all together and check for seasoning.
8. Finally add coriander leaves.
