First day of Indo Pak Foreign Secretary level talks
New Delhi, July 04 (ANI): The first day of the Indo Pak Foreign Secretary level talks ended today, with both sides agreeing to resume talks tomorrow. The meeting that started this morning at Hyderabad House, consisted of two sessions of detailed discussions between Union Foreign Secretary Ranjan Mathai and his Pakistan counterpart Jalil Abbas Jilani, covering peace and security and the issue of Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, earlier yesterday, Jilani met the separatist Hurriyat leaders ahead of the bilateral parleys, an act that didn t go too well within Indian political circles.
