Fire continues at ONGC, tenders toil to douse flames
Surat, April 19 (ANI): Massive fire in one of the wells of government-run Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) in Surat city of Gujarat still continued on Sunday. The fire broke out yesterday leaving seven people injured. So intense was the fire that the flames could not be doused off even when fire tenders were pressed into service and operation continued all night. No casualties have been reported in the blaze. The injured are undergoing treatment in a nearby hospital. The fire broke out following a blast in the well after leakage in a gas pipeline. This is the third incident of fire to be reported from the site this year.
