Family of Indian national rescued in Libya heaves a sigh of relief
Raichur, Aug 01 (ANI): Family of Lakshmikantha, who was released after being detained near the Libyan coastal city of Sirte -- an area that is under the control of Islamic State militants -- is eagerly awaiting his return. India said on Friday that it had secured the release of two of its four nationals who had been detained. The second Indian national freed has been identified as Vijay Kumar. Lakshmikantha’s wife, Pratibha, said on Saturday that the family was sure that he would return. A visibly elated family of Lakshmikantha distributed sweets among neighbours and media persons to share their happiness.
