FULL USE OF LIMITED MEANS CAN CHECK CHILD MORTALITY: BIHAR CM
Bihar has left many states lagging behind when it comes to lowering infant mortality rate (IMR), however, the quest to end this evil completely is not over yet. The state government has introduced many schemes and devised various plans to fight high mortality rate of the mother and her child. In the same manner, there are some NGOs which are committed towards ensuring that no infant dies an untimely death. One such NGO ‘Save The Children’, which aims to lower IMR, organised a political consultation in state capital Patna where state Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi and other politicians of Bihar took part.
