Everest trekker alert: Woman mountaineer admitted to hospital
Siliguri, May 25 (ANI): 49-year-old resident of Toolyganj of Kolkata Chetena Sahu, who recently climbed Mount Everest, was admitted to a private nursing home in Siliguri after being attacked by frostbite while returning from the Everest summit. Chetena and her husband Pradip Kumar Sahu, along with a team, started climbing the Everest from a base camp. After successfully climbing the world highest pick, Chetena contracted frostbite. She was then sent to Kathmandu with a help of helicopter and then to Siliguri. According to the Dr. Pankaj Vardyaj, Chetena's eight fingers are not working and some minor leg injuries. Sahu expressed his condolence to the family members of Goutam Ghosh and Paresh Nath, who are still missing in the Everest.
