Jaipur, May 31 (ANI): Home to a heterogeneous population, India's diversity can be seen across its length and breadth. People of varied faiths and communities can be seen working and socializing together. But to Abdul Latif, socializing means more than just attending social gatherings. Going against the odds, he extended financial help and support to a poor Brahmin family for their daughter's wedding. Reaching out to members of different communities to organize their weddings has earned Latif a goodwill among Hindus. Not only did he take care of the finances, Abdul along with fellow Muslims, also arranged a Hindu priest and even presents for the wedding. This Hindu-Brahmin family had never expected Muslims to come forward with this help. The newlyweds couldn't thank them enough for this generosity. During the ceremony, members of both the communities blessed the couple, sending out a strong message of communal harmony. Such occasions reflect the communal understanding and solidarity of India.
