Eid Ul Fitr celebrations across India
New Delhi/Mumbai/Ajmer, Aug 20 (ANI): Muslims across India offered prayers on the occasion of Eid Ul Fitr today, after crescent moon was sighted, marking the end of Ramadan, a month long religious fast observed by Muslims. Culmination of the holy month of Ramadan of the Islamic calendar was declared with the sighting of moon across India on Sunday. Wishing the nation on the occasion, Muslim Cleric of Jama Masjid in Delhi, Maulana Syed Ahmed Bukhari, hailed all those people who observed a month long fast. Meanwhile, Muslims is Mumbai offered prayers and embraced each other and exchanged Eid greetings after the prayers.
