EAM Sushma Swaraj recalls PJ Kurien’s best days at office as he retires
New Delhi, Jul 1 (ANI): A formal farewell fuction was held to honour Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha PJ Kurien, as he is retiring from his office. External Affair Minister, Sushma Swaraj recalled the efficient time he had spent during his days at office. “I still remember during Prime Minister was leaving for US. Everyone was congratulating the Prime Minister, then you clapped and said, what happens on stage everyone finally sees that but no one gets a glimpse of what happens behind the stage, during the preparation of such official trips. I have brought that team today, who toil hard to make these trips successful. The happiness you give after such work trips and the ministers of the respective countries also give valuable feedback, then we don’t feel tired anymore, we only remember that our work was successfully conducted.”
