Defence has immense potential for development, time for jugular in procurement: Parrikar
New Delhi, June 03 (ANI): Union Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar on Wednesday addressed a conference on electronic sector in New Delhi. Parrikar said that we can initiate the 'Make in India' in electronic sector with Defence as it has immense potential for development. He added that he had underestimated the mess created by the previous government so it will take some more time to bring things back on track. Parrikar said that it is time for jugular in defence procurement, such as vendors are treated as partners. He added that the atmosphere of mistrust should go.
