Debit card breach: Finance asks customers to not panic
New Delhi, Oct 21 (ANI): The country's largest debit cards security breach is sending shivers down the spine of customers as various banks have been hit by the malware infestation of debit cards. The Centre on Friday assured the nation that there is no need to panic as an enquiry is underway and the computer trail leading to the guilty will be discovered soon. Economic Affairs Secretary Shaktikanta Das said some elements outside India have carried out the hacking and have misused the debit cards. Das said that there is absolutely no cause for alarm among customers. As firm action will be taken once they receive the report from the banks.
