Data Does Little To Bolster Sentiment Wednesday
The economy was in focus today with a bevy of economic reports. Homebuilder confidence in the U.S. unexpectedly saw a continued improvement in the month of August, hitting a 5 year high. Activity at the nations mines, factories, and utilitiesramped up more than expected in July. Consumer prices held steady in July. Meanwhile, manufacturing activity in New York State unexpectedly contracted in August.
