Dalai Lama expresses concern over Tibetan s self immolation
Dharamsala, June 30 (ANI): Spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama has expressed concern over rising number of self immolation of Tibetans in protest of China's repressive policies. Media coordinator of Tibetan government in exile, Lobsang Chodak said that Dalai Lama slammed China for overseeing the series of self immolations carried out by the Tibetan youth. The Tibetan spiritual leader returned to Dharamsala yesterday after his fortnight visit to England, Scotland and Italy. Recently two young Tibetans Tenzin Khedup and Ngawang Norphel set themselves on fire on the streets in eastern Tibet. Scores of Tibetan youth have reportedly committed self immolation against what they term as rising atrocities by the Chinese administration.
