Dadri villagers say politicians marring peaceful environment

Dadri, Oct 07 (ANI): Following their peace meeting with the Gautam Buddha Nagar District administration, residents of Bishada village in Dadri, claimed there was no problem in the village and that people were living in harmony. Last week a 50-year-old man, Mohammad Akhlaq (Ikhlaq), was lynched for allegedly buying and eating beef in his house in Bishada village. The family of Mohammad Akhlaq (Ikhlaq) have appealed to all politicians to stop politicising the issue and demanded justice. Several prominent leaders, including Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, have visited the victims' family last week to express their condolences.
