Congress defends Rahul from mounting criticism
New Delhi, Sep 14 (ANI): Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh has defended the partys general secretary Rahul Gandhi, who is facing mounting criticism at home and abroad over his capabilities. The world renowned newspaper, the Economist, has questioned Gandhis credentials as a politician after his failure to revive his party in crucial Uttar Pradesh and Bihar and his reluctance to speak on critical national issues. Singh also added that it is not necessary for Rahul Gandhi to express his opinion separately as the Congress expresses its viewpoint on every issue. Meanwhile, Information and Broadcasting Minister, Ambika Soni has also slammed the BJP for targeting Rahul, who is silent on coal scam.
