Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba's founder meets PM Modi
New Delhi, March 31 (ANI): Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba's founder and executive chairman Jack Ma met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. Ma, who is China's wealthiest man with a net worth of nearly $30 billion, is in India as part of a business delegation and has met several Indian entrepreneurs. Alibaba is in talks with Indian online marketplace Snapdeal over a potential cash investment. Alibaba and Snapdeal have spoken in the past, and the investor interest is "high". Alibaba, which has been eyeing the Indian market for months, has yet to invest directly in the e-commerce space. Ma is the latest in a long line of global business leaders who have traveled to India after the Modi was elected as the Prime Minister last year.
