Chinese President Xi Jinping to meet Sonia Gandhi a day after attending state banquet by President
New Delhi, Sep 19 (ANI): A day after Chinese President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowed to solve the border issues between the two countries, Jinping is expected to meet Congress delegation led by Sonia Gandhi including former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday. Earlier on Thursday, Jinping attended the state banquet hosted by President Pranab Mukherjee in New Delhi as the Chinese leader's India visit nears end. The event was also attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, top leadership of the country and the Chinese and Indian delegations. Xi Jinping, accompanied by his wife, arrived in India for a three-day visit aimed at creating greater cooperation between the two countries.
