Children to get 'Clean India' message through film festival

New Delhi, Nov 7 (ANI): Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar, on Friday informed that the government would be organising a three-day National Children Film Festival (NCFF) in New Delhi. Addressing a news briefing, Javadekar said that the government is keen on promoting films for children by facilitating expansion of its reach. Javadekar said that the children's film festival culture was needed to be taken to other cities and states. He said the government would lend support to organising such film festivals. The film festival in the national capital will be held on the theme, 'Swachhta', or cleanliness. The Film and Television Institute of India will be holding cinematography workshops, puppetry and animation and best out of waste workshops for the children during the event.
