Chidambaram condemned for opening the Pandora box.

Mumbai/New Delhi, Nov29 (ANI): The former Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram, addressed that the ban on Salman Rushdie's book ‘Satanic verses’ by former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi in 1989 was a wrong step. In contrary to his statement BJP leader Shaina NC said that Chidambaram is opening a Pandora box which is a still a question mark and cited it to be an internal matter of congress party. Janata Dal United leader KC Tyagi referred the episode to be surprising after a gap of 27 years.NCP leader Majeed Memon acknowledged that remarks in this book may create chaos and could prove to be an impediment to peace.
