Cabinet approves 2% hike in dearness allowance, relief for employees, pensioners
New Delhi, Oct 27 (ANI): Ahead of Diwali, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said the Centre on Thursday approved a two percent hike in the dearness allowance and dearness relief for the government employees and pensioners, respectively. The decision meant to neutralize the impact of inflation and will be effective from July 1, 2016.
