Bystanders watch as man collapses of heart attack in ATM queue

Kolkata, Dec 04 (ANI): In a shocking case of apathy and yet another incident of demonetisation-related death, a 45-year-old man died, while standing in a queue outside an ATM, when he suffered a heart attack. Reportedly, no one came ahead for any help and the man laid there unattended for at least 30 minutes. The deceased was a state government employee, Kallol Roy Chowdhury, who was posted in Cooch Behar district. The incident took place near Bandel station in Kolkata at around 7.30 am. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee described the incident as "unfortunate" and questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi if he was taking note of it. Taking to Twitter she said, "Unfortunate death toll continues... This morning Kallol Roy Chowdhury collapsed and died in front of SBI ATM at Bandel station. My condolences to the bereaved family. Is Modi babu listening?".
