Bidding for Regional Connectivity Scheme for airports ends
New Delhi, Jan 18 (ANI): Airport Authority of India's Chairman Guruprasad Mohapatra said the bidding process for selection of airports under the Regional Connectivity Scheme has been closed on 16 January 2016. Only after the processing of the initial bids and counter proposals, the airports will be selected for the RCS operators. The Ministry of Civil Aviation had launched the Regional Connectivity Scheme(RCS) in October 2016 to stimulate regional air connectivity by making it more affordable.
