Bangalore rape case: Social Activists demand amendment in laws for safety of children in school

New Delhi/Jaipur, Oct 31 (ANI): Social Activists on Friday demanded demand amendment in laws for safety of children in school after a six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a Hindi teacher on the campus of her private school in Bangalore. Delhi Commission for Women Chairperson Barkha Shukla said that there needs to be law of on the spot punishment in such cases. AIDWA General Secretary Jagmati Sangwan said that holistic gender sensitization of schools should take place. Social activist Kavita Srivastava also appealed for stricter laws to be made to ensure safety of children.
